Tom brings to the company 50 years’ experience across the construction and building sectors as both Managing Director and Lead Estimator. His personal leadership attributes combined with his passion for aligning client expectations with practical construction delivery methods, ensures on time delivery for his clients. He is skilled in several areas including project management, value engineering, contract administration, estimating and carpentry. Tom’s broad experience allows him to oversee the full spectrum of tasks within each project and deliver results.

Ashley Cronin

Manager / Project Manager

Ash has over 20 years’ experience within the construction industry, trade qualifications in carpentry and significant experience in project and construction management. He has a thorough understanding of the impacts and requirements to ensure the successful completion of all construction projects. His understanding of risks, legislation and budget limitations allows for a tailored approach, ensuring each project exceeds client expectations and is delivered on time. Ash’s notable qualifications include Certificate III in Carpentry, Certificate IV in Building & Construction, Advanced Diploma in Construction Management, B Class Asbestos, Medium Rise Nominee Supervisor QBCC No. 1217927.

Jenelle O'Shannessy

Office Manager

Jenelle is a Registered BAS Agent with 30 years’ experience in the accounting field. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, an MYOB Professional Partner and a Justice of the Peace (Qualified). Her skills and experience have been applied to several fields within rural and remote, regional and metropolitan areas. Building and construction, mining, medical, hospitality, retail and local government have been Jenelle’s prime focus. She has developed a deep understanding in each field which ensures each project runs successfully.

Glenn Boland

Business Development Manager

With over 36 years’ experience in delivering civil works across multiple industries and sectors, Glenn brings unique insight into the pressures and risks associated with the successful completion of complex projects. He has a significant track record in leading construction teams and managing multiple subcontractors to deliver civil works. He understands the risks and issues in site supervision and applies a pragmatic approach in delivering high quality workmanship and performance. Glen’s qualifications include Excavator ticket, Skid Steer Ticket, track Machine ticket, Asbestos Removal License, First Aid & CPR, Working at height & Confined space.

Rod Cronin

Site Foreman / Demolition Manager

Rod has over 35 years’ experience within the building and construction industry. He is well versed in all aspects of project management and delivery through his diverse roles including contract supervision, project management and tradesman. This experience enables Rod to provide a hands-on approach to his work in management of contracts. Additionally, Rod has a thorough understanding of the mechanics of domestic and commercial structures. Rod’s qualifications include Contractor License – Carpentry, Joinery, Concreting, EWP Ticket, Working safely at heights, Asbestos Removal License.

Donna O'Shannessy

WHSQA Manager

Donna manages all of New Wave’s safety procedures & Quality Assurance works at Defence, Department of Education, Q-Build and public sector housing sites across the region. Donna’s qualifications include Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and Human Resources. Donna also assists in the daily operations of all constructions sites.

Darren Anger

Site Foreman

Darren is a trade qualified carpenter, experienced site supervisor and qualified first aider. He has delivered a diverse range of projects throughout Townsville and North Queensland for more than 25 years. This local experience provides a significant benefit to our clients with a strong understanding of what the risks are when delivering North Queensland projects on site and how best to manage them. In addition, the real value Darren brings to his projects is his attention to detail to ensure quality of workmanship where client’s expectations are always exceeded. Darren’s qualifications include Certificate III in Carpentry, Contractor License – Carpentry, Concreting & Joinery, EWP Ticket, Certificate in Asbestos Removal, RFT Certificate, First Aid & CPR.
